Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 15 June 2025  ·  Effective Date: 15 June 2025

These terms govern your use of the Tempora website and the watch repair and restoration services offered by Tempora at 124 Sukhumvit Road, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand. Please read them before using our services or submitting an enquiry.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or engaging the workshop's services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have legal capacity to enter into an agreement, and accept these terms. If you are acting on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

3. Service Description

Tempora offers mechanical movement servicing, vintage case restoration, and battery and seal renewal for personal timepieces. Services are carried out from the workshop's Sukhumvit Road premises. We do not offer postal servicing; all pieces must be presented in person or arranged through direct agreement.

Workshop availability is subject to current capacity. We reserve the right to decline any service request where, in our assessment, the work falls outside our scope or presents undue risk to the piece.

4. Service Terms and Scope

All work is preceded by an assessment and a written estimate. No work begins until the estimate has been confirmed by the client. If during a service an issue is discovered that falls outside the agreed scope, work will pause and the client will be contacted before proceeding.

Changes to the agreed scope requested by the client during a service may affect the final price and timeline. Such changes will be confirmed in writing before implementation.

All serviced pieces are returned with a written condition note. Where original parts have been removed, they will be returned to the client unless explicit disposal instructions are given.

5. Payment

All prices are quoted and payable in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due at collection of the piece. We accept cash and major bank transfers. We reserve the right to retain a piece until payment is received in full.

Published starting rates represent the minimum for each service type. The final charge will reflect the actual scope of work as agreed in writing. No additional charges will be applied without the client's consent.

6. Client Responsibilities

7. Intellectual Property

All text, images, and design elements on this website are the property of Tempora or used with permission. Nothing on this site may be reproduced, copied, or distributed without prior written consent. Accessing the website grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to view and use content for informational purposes only.

8. Disclaimers

All services are carried out with reasonable professional care and skill. However, watchmaking involves inherent risks, particularly with aged or previously modified timepieces. We cannot warrant specific outcomes — such as a particular timekeeping rate or the successful sourcing of discontinued parts — where these depend on the condition of the piece or the availability of components outside our control.

Website content is provided for informational purposes. It does not constitute professional advice specific to your watch or situation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under Thai law, the workshop's liability in connection with any service shall not exceed the fee paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, including loss of use or sentimental value.

In the event of accidental damage to a piece while in the workshop's care, we will discuss the matter directly with the client and endeavour to reach a fair resolution. We maintain appropriate workshop insurance for this purpose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tempora and its staff from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms, misrepresentation of ownership, or unlawful use of this website.

11. Termination

Either party may withdraw from a service agreement before work commences, without obligation. Once work has commenced, withdrawal by the client may result in a charge for work already carried out. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service in cases of misrepresentation, unreasonable conduct, or risk to staff or property.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute shall first be addressed through direct communication between the parties. If resolution is not reached within 30 days, either party may pursue the matter through the appropriate Thai civil courts in Bangkok.

13. General Provisions

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
